Three new events have been added to this year’s open rodeo series:  Open Poles, Open Barrels, and Senior Goat Tying.  The new events are for those of you who requested an opportunity to run more than one horse in the series.  Of course, you can run the same horse in your correct age division and the open division if you prefer.  The age divisions are:  pee wee – 8 and under, junior – under 18, and senior – 18 and over.  Any age can compete in the “open” events.

Call in is open for the May 19 Open Rodeo and will close Friday night at 8:00.  If you do not call in you will have to pay a $5 late entry fee and you will have to pay at the admission gate.  Save yourself some $$$ by calling in!

Call in opens Tuesday for the first rodeo in the Diamond S Series.  For information about events and fees, look under the “Special Events” tab on this website.

Call in for April 14 youth rodeo opens on Tuesday, April 10 at 5:00 p.m. and closes on Friday, April 13 at 7:00p.m.  Call in by email at tkeena@RafterKRodeoMO.com, on Facebook at Rafter K Rodeo Arena, or by phone at 573-568-2524.

Announcer's stand, March 1, 2012

The tornado left us with no arena, no announcer’s stand, no concession stand, and no pavillion.  But it didn’t take our rodeo!  The first Rafter K rodeo of the season will take place on April 14 as scheduled.  Louis, along with the help of so many of our friends, has been rebuilding.  The backpens are rebuilt and the announcer’s stand has a floor, with walls to come.  And it only has one flight of stairs this time!  The arena lights were going up today and bathrooms will be built this week.  Tonya Williamson will be providing concessions from her concession trailer until we are able to build a new concession stand.  We look forward to seeing all our rodeo contestants and spectators at the “new” Rafter K!

New backpens, March 31, 2012

Schedules for the 2012 Youth Series and Open Series are now on the website.  Click on “series events” to see them.

The Stoddard County Cowboy Church Rodeo is this Saturday, November 5th.

Rodeo starts at 1:00 pm.  Call in is open until Friday night at 8:00.

Call in to 573-568-2524.  Events are the same as Rafter K Open Rodeo and will include pee wee poles and pee wee barrels.

Directions:  Highway 51 south of Puxico.  Turn west onto T Highway.  Watch for signs to turn right onto county road 295.
